Mission

Our Scripture Base

‘Return to your house and show the great things God has done to you.’ And he left and became a herald to the entire city of the great things Jesus did for him.

Luke 8:39

Our Motto: I’M THIRD

“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets’.” – (Matthew 22:37-39).

The vertical piece of the cross represents our relationship with God. The horizontal piece of the cross represents our relationship with others. The shoes that hang on the cross remind us that no matter where we go and no matter what type of shoes we wear, if we know Jesus, we carry His cross and His name with us. God First. Others Second. I’m Third.

Our Core Values: R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Relationship
The way in which one or more things is connected (Mark 12:28-34) We believe in creating a loving, grace-filled, and accepting community where relationships can flourish, unity is developed and role models for the Christian life are provided.

Excellence
To exceed the standard (Philemon 1:21) We believe excellence in giving even beyond our absolute best effort with what God has given us, to honor Him in all we do.

Safety: Being protected from that which causes serious injury (Proverbs 29:25) We believe in creating a safe haven for campers to be able to express their feelings, explore new territories, and enjoy the experience without the threat of severe danger.

Participation
To take part in experience (Philippians 3:10) We believe in the collective sharing of healthy experiences whether for the first time or one of many in order for the growth and encouragement of others.

Enthusiasm
To be possessed, inspired, influenced, or controlled by God (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) We believe in the literal awe-inspiring presence of God being with every moment of every day, testing and proving us with the consuming fire of His love.

Character
The qualities stamped on a person’s heart (Romans 5:1-5) We are committed to holistic development of the heart; spiritual, mental, socio-emotional, financial, and physical, as a part of God’s plan for abundant life.

Truth
The quality of something in accordance with reality (John 8:32) We believe integrity is the door to knowing one’s self. Truth is the key that can open that door.
